European and French Roulette are very similar. It is played with a zero wheel. American Roulette is the branch "versions, often in American casinos. It has a 2 to zero on the wheel, the house edge doubles.

American Roulette is a 0-00, while others have only 0. This changes, so the odds of 35:1 to 34:1. That's what I heard. For more information hoyles.com
